Playing Derby Since
Only a year - although I tried roller skating as a kid, I was the one who clung to the wall at roller discos; this didn’t stop me though and within the year at BRD I don’t feel so bambi-legged anymore.

Life Outside Of Derby
I’m bar staff as a job, but my real passion is drawing (cartoons and anthropomorphic animals)

What I'm working on now
At the moment I’m plodding along in trying to get every technique right, so I might get faster and actually keep up with the pack. Slow ‘n steady wins the race they say, but not in Derby :p 😛

Advice to new skaters
Every “failure” is one step closer to success. Stay hydrated. Don’t compare yourself to others, learn from it.
