After the massive success of the inaugural Peeka Hurt You Cup in 2022 - in which we raised £3000 for Dorothy House, who took care of Amy (aka Peeka Hurt You #666) - and in 2023, we are going to do it all AGAIN in 2024! So don your brightest sportswear, slap on the glitter, and join Bath Roller Derby in celebrating Amy and raising money for charity! The day will feature three games of different levels, from Rookie to Advanced. Skater tickets are currently sold out, but spectator tickets are still available and we’d love to have you join us to cheer on the teams!
In September 2020, our beloved league member Amy passed away a few days before her 40th birthday, following a long illness with breast cancer. The Peeka Hurt You Cup is an opportunity to celebrate her with the roller derby community she loved and continued to be a part of throughout her treatment.
We will be donating all profits from the event to Dorothy House, a local charity that hugely supported her and has also touched the lives of many of our other league members past and present. You can find out more about their work here: https://www.dorothyhouse.org.uk/. 13.30 - Doors open 14:00 - Rookie game 15.45 - WFTDA game 17.30 - OTA game 19.30 - Leave hall 20.00 - Afterparty!
